Is Lactalis Canada still hiring?

Yes! Lactalis Canada is an essential business and as such, we need the staff to help meet the growing demands we are being faced with.

I recently applied to a job. What happens now?

Our Human Resources team reviews applications daily. If you meet the qualifications, you may be selected for a phone screen. If you are invited to participate in an interview, we will proceed with a virtual interview (when possible). As always, only the strongest candidates will be selected at each stage of the recruitment process.
Please note, with everything surrounding COVID-19, the Recruitment Process may take slightly longer than usual.

If I am chosen for an interview, how will it work?

Lactalis Canada will be performing Zoom interviews for all head office roles and where appropriate for plant roles. For virtual interviews you will be sent a link which you will enter at your designated interview time. Once on Zoom, you will be able to see and hear your Lactalis Canada interviewers. For in person interviews we will work with you to ensure your comfort during the process. Your safety and the safety of our employees is our top concern.

Will my background check be impacted by COVID-19?

With the uncertainty of COVID-19, the background check might take slightly longer than usual. However, Lactalis Canada employees will work closely with you and update you frequently regarding the status of your background check.

My confirmed start date is fast approaching, what happens now?

In most cases, your start date will continue as planned. If your background check has been completed and cleared, the Human Resources Department will provide you first day details that will include how your first day will commence. We can’t wait for you to join the Lactalis Canada team!
